Screen Printing
Screen printing is the process of printing garments with specially-prepared mesh screens that layer ink on garments one color at a time. The colors and positions are determined by film positives which contain all of this information labeled per-positive. Film positives, along with color compositions, are sent to the screen room where light-sensitive emulsion is used to coat the screens where no dye exists on the film positives. The screens are then loaded onto printing presses, ink colors are applied according to print order, and, once printing is complete, sent through an industrial dryer for finalizing the process. Once this is complete, the garments are packaged and shipped to the appropriate customer.
